From August 18, 1998 Faith Anne has been my best friend. There are so many pictures of us that I could place here, but I chose to put one of my favorite shared pastimes with Faith. A kiss. I know & understand that the age of miracles is over, but when I kiss Faith, it is as thought they still exist. There are many times that I come home from a frustrating day and a simple kiss from Faith completely creates a renewed focus on life, God and what's really important.
WOW. Talk about addiction. I'm hooked.
There have been songs, stories & poetry written, artwork painted, drawn & sculpted, fantasies thought, dreampt & imagined, but nothing has ever captured the truth of our kiss. I would have to say it contains all the mortality of humanity the imortality of fantasy and the competeness of God's blessing.
It was Christmas day of 2006. A beautiful white day full of fresh fluffy snow. Kira is sporting a pink nose chilled by the wintery air, along with a pair of stunning blue grey eyes.
